When I installed avast! I saw that you could make a scan before windows started. Can you do it again without reinstalling?
And when I scan a selected area (example if I go to my computer, right click and press scan) it scans normally but when it’s at 100% it just disapears. It it because it didn’t find any viruses or? :S

the quick scan (rightclick with the mouse → scan) is by default setted to disappear after a scan without found viruses or so… you can activate the results via rightclicking the avast-symbol in the tray → settings → tick the "show results of the explorer-extension (could have a different name (depends on the language))
yes a boottimescan can be started via opening avast! (doubleclick the desktop-symbol or rightclick the tray icon and start avast! antivirus → menu → boottimescan…
