Where do the people from Neuber say it is dangerous?

First:

  • Increase your (comprehensive) reading skills
  • Learn how computers and software is working

Hi Eddy & Mr. Pug,

Mr. Pug’s problem in a nutshell. He has found:
Intrusive process:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe
Process ID (PID): 1376

Attempt of process intrusion:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wmiadap.exe
Process ID (PID): 3900

Mr. Pug’s question therefore is - “Can I trust this process?”

So we should think along these lines and offer Mr. Pug some insight and info he might have overlooked.
First question therefore:
Does mr. Pug have the right idea about risk-ware or PUP? That is the question here.
A PUP is a potentially unsafe program and riskware is what it says, software which could pose a threat to the user when he is not aware of that risk involved using the software.
The threat is an invader threat: invader means a program is injecting it’s code into another process.
Could be a completely normal behaviour as wmiadap.exe is a standard and necessary Windows system executable.
This is an important observation, folks.
Well this does not mean it has registry access.
For something to be a PUP, the user should not know what it does and not having installed it himself or deliberately takes the risks involved.
As you cannot do without it in Windows, so there this discussion ends.
