I’m sure this is OBVIOUS to everyone else, but I’m confused! What is a Topic Sticky Topic? You can all laugh at me if you want! I don’t care! I just want an answer! Thank you for humoring my ignorance! I’ll be waiting with Anticipation!

A sticky topic is one which the forum host has decided to “stick” to the top of the forum so that it will not fall down the list. An example of a sticky would be a post that contains guidelines for posting in a particular forum or one that announces an important event for a particular forum, such as a new version of a popular software package or a birthday*

Sticky topic is topic that will stay there stuck for everyone to see it… and even after some time, unlike the other topics, when they all disappear from the list because they became obsolete, sticky topics will still be at the top of this list where you see all thread names, so everyone can see them always… they do that with some threads with very important information to make sure they are always accessible so new members don’t have to search through forum…
