Is there a heuristic analyse feature in Avast Standart Shield?

It’s actually questionable what to call “heuristics”. The Standard Shield does not have a heuristic in the usual sense of the word; there are some generic detections in avast! virus database, which is somehow similar.
Besides what Igor says, there is only mail heuristic analysis. Check the Internet Mail provider or Outlook pluggin settings.
Not even for Standard Shield? Personally, I’d like to see heuristic analysis on Web Shield as well since both mail and browsing are the front lines exposed to zero-day attacks… :-\
Well… I think html traffic and the purpose of WebShield (scanning the traffic before any file is saved on the computer) will bring trouble to Heuristic analysis: to many false positives, probably browsing delays, etc.
I think Heuristics (if well implemented) should be at Standard Shield (if any)
