RejZoR: but when we rename the detections to contain an -heur suffix, will the users be really satisfied? the heuristics should be scalable and turnable on and off (and produce proportional results)… that’s only possible to code into new engine…

So, in this meaning, avast generic signatures are heuristic, imho.
