Why is it when I have my Screen saver scanner running I can let it do a full scan and it wont pick up the usual false alarms (Cracks/Keygens FTW) we all know and love?
Will the add a scheduled scan in 5 and if so can they make it so that the popups telling you have a virus do not stop the scanner? (A results list?)
What will the pro edition have that the home edition wont in 5 (As far as protection)
Why is utorrent not checked by default on the p2p list? (But bittorrent/ bitcomet is)
Does the internet mail scanner work with Yahoo/Gmail or only a Mail GUI (Thunderbird)
Why does comodo’s virus scanner suck a left nut and pick up EVERY SINGLE DAMN FALSE ALARM MY SYSTEM HAS??? (It thought my chessbase 10 crack was a damn Trojan)
Why is comodo’s firewall so damn good if the AV sucks?
Don’t know about this, but how can you be sure that Cracks/Keygens are FP’s - They are the prime method of distributing malware
It is not possible in the home version because there have to be some things that attract people to the paid version, the developers don’t work for free
If you’re sure they’re “clean”, you need to use the Exclusion lists:
For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…
For the other providers (on-demand scanning such as the screen-saver or the Simple User Interface):
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon, click Program Settings.
Go to Exclusions tab and click on Add button…
You can use wildcards like * and ?.
But be careful, you should ‘exclude’ that many files that let your system in danger.
That’s not it, If avast is not picking them up then why should I have any cause for alarm when comodo AV picks them up as “suspicious”
And please Spg SCOTT I do not appreciate people who are that cynical and closed minded, I ma not be the most experienced with Avast yet. Their is no need to put me down.
The internet mail scanner scan specific protocol (POP3,SMTP,IMAP, etc), if you use your browser to access yahoo and gmail it is http. That is why it work with Thnderbird
