hi sec

hi,
i use the new avast 4.7.781 (fully updated not demo) with win xp with only one account (for sure it’s an administrator account) and you know i tried t many security programs but there’s nothing like avast (it was like that before this new version) and i never worried about viruses and other internet threats but when i updated my avast to this version (man!!!)(chaos  every uninstall in every program was just a threat to avast (a virus). i know that theres some viruses which removes files from the computer and the uninstall is just like that i know that avast just trying to protect me but i need these uninstalls… never mind I’ve put those files in “Exclusions”. but man this new security system!!! since when avast blocks installation blocks files reg keys??? data bases??? without permission??? i mean it’s good that it protects the computer that way but why don’t avast ask for permission? like what it does with viruses? can some buddy help me here how can i install my program? most of the programs that I’m trying to install cannot be installed!!! (like IE 7 or DAP 8.1)??? is there any solution?? i tried to turn off avast but that doesn’t work! here’s some images

avast! doesn’t block any registry access or anything else the installer might do (unless it’s trying to drop some infected files, but you’d clearly see the “Virus found!” dialog in that case). I’d say something is broken in the system, but it’s really hard to say why.

You said that after an update (program or virus database?) avast! found “everything” as a virus… what was the malware name?

Can you disable simple file sharing (Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > 2nd tab of settings.
The last second configuration… Uncheck it.
Go to the folder you where installing DAP and right click it.
Go the the Sharing & Security option.
On Sharing, which users have access to that folder?

thnx for the help but I’m wrong that’s not avast for sure.
i still have the problem I’ll ask Microsoft for solution…
