High ashServ.exe CPU usage with eMule (with 125 downloads)

I’ve never seen this scenario till now so here it is.
I’m running eMule 0.49a Beta 2 and i’ve just added 125 downloads to it (documentaries, video files) totaling around 25 gigabytes of data.
All seems to be pretty much fine till i close eMule. After that ashServ.exe starts jumping from 0% to 50% and back to 0% and so on, this continues pretty much forever till i log off and log on again.

I’m running avast! 4.8.1169 Home Edition set on Normal sensitivity on Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit.
Providers installed are Standard Shield, Network Shield and Web Shield.

The problem could be the number of downloads because I’ve used eMule for much more of 25Gb at once and no problems. I’m with the latest beta of both (eMule and avast). No degradation of resources. Sorry, this post wasn’t that helpful don’t you think? :-[

I was downloading similar number of documentaries before with avast! 4.7 and don’t remember having such problem.
Although i was indeed using eMule 0.48x. It’s possible that eMule could be the problem but i don’t remmeber they’d change anything related to how it works with disk.
