Last week I found a excellent add-on for the firefox browser.
It’s called WOT (Web of Trust) and it’s a simple tool that highlights suspect, malicious or spyware web sites. The add-on has already saved me minor to moderate grief with the warnings (in the form of “traffic light” circles next to suspect websites in search engines or in the address bar.)…
mozilla has a warning device aside from this right?coz when i search sometimes i see “# potentially harmful website is marked on this page”(on a red sign) and you will see the word “Warning Dangerous Downloads”(red colored too)on top of the webiste.so…whats the difference of it from WOT?(i’m a noob sorry)but please explain. If our Pros here recommend this add-on i’ll get it.
Well i am a newbie to.What i like about wot it has a four colour circle system.it can let you know about trustworthiness, vendor reliability, privacy and child safety i.e.porn.You can adjust wot to either block sites or give you a warning when visiting bad sites. You can also review sites to.Like you could rate this forum very good. And a spam site very bad etc.Unless its monty python spam but then you have to be getting on a bit to remember spam, spam, spam, spam a monty python song. ;D.
