Do you have a problem now?
Argus, I don’t know. My reason for posting was to see if this is a problem or not, I do not see any signs of a problem using my computer. Basically I wanted to know if a Hijacked Hosts file meant there was a problem or not. If you look in the dds log it shows lists several domains under the Hijacked Hosts file, a lot of them are for Mcafee, Symantec, etc. I think though that these domains are for ads for these programs so possibly the hosts file is doing what it is supposed to do??? Am I making any sense?
OK rerun DDS again
here you go.
Looks like it is gone now in this scan, so am I good to go?
Yes, let’s go a little more to clean up
