Hijack this log help. Not sure if this is the right place to post or not..

I’m positive that I have bad things going on with my comp. There’s always a lag. I have dsl and it takes a few mintues for my internet screen to even pop up. It’s not anywhere close to as fast as when we first got the internet.
I just need a little help on how to get rid of the negative things and do it SAFELY! I did an analyzer and it did show that there are some negatives.
I will post the logfile and the the analyzed one later if anyone wants to see it.
Any help at all would be appreciated! Thanks

Duh. Here’s the logfile. And also I have Windows XP.

:slight_smile: Hi :

 This is the Avast Antivirus Support Forums and there is NO indication that
 Avast is on your computer; since you have Yahoo Antivirus, perhaps you
 should ask them for help or an independent site that has experienced,
 trained, certified, volunteer Malware Experts, such as the Forums of
 "Spyware Beware" !?

My my. So judgemental in so many ways …

Well, there’s a better judge than I, if you get my drift …

@blw1084

Welcome to the forum :slight_smile:

In addition to CA Antivirus (provided by Yahoo) you have a Panda service loading. Uninstall Panda and post a fresh HJT log. Is your internet connection any better with only one AV running?
