HijackThis shows missing files...

Dear Firends:

I 'm an Avast 4 Home user.
After a HijackThis scanning I noticed the following two registers within the log file:

O23 - Service: avast! Mail Scanner - Unknown owner - C:\Archivos de programa\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe" /service (file missing)

O23 - Service: avast! Web Scanner - Unknown owner - C:\Archivos de programa\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashWebSv.exe" /service (file missing)

Is this normal? Does it mean that I am unprotected either when I navigate the Internet and against incoming virus-infected e-mails?
I´ll highly appreciate your help.

Ignore any 023 reference to avast processes, this is a hiccup in the HJT 1.99.1 especially missing file entry for avast.

If they were missing the web shield and internet mail providers wouldn’t be working, you can easily confirm they aren’t missing by loking for them.

Sorry, but I forgot to tell you guys that at first, when I noticed those two items in the HJT logfile, I downloaded the Avast last version (4.7), uninstalled the existing one, disabled the Windows point of restoration feature, re-installed the Avast by using the last downloaded file and scanned my PC again with the HJT, but the two “missing files” messages appeared again within the HJT log file.

You have nothing to worry about, just check the files are there.
