when I put HIPS on level 3, it blocks Macrium Reflect from running a backup, unless I happen to be on the computer to manually allow it.
I tried adding MR to global exclusions, but that did not help

Avast free 11.2.2262
windows 10 x64 stable build
other security softs:
voodooshield
adguard
hitmanpro.alert
mcshield
previous AV: webroot secureanywhere 2016
Voodooshield and HitmanPro need to go.

You also need to make sure Webroot is completely gone.

I also think Voodooshield need to go .
please note that voodooshield and HMP.A are not anti-virus programs. they are specifically designed to be a companion to AV, not to replace it.
Do you try repair-Repair Avast:
I noticed this problem immediately after install, so I don’t think repair is called for.
To be more specific about the issue: HIPS level 3 triggers a pop-up when I manually start a backup job.
level 2 blocks a backup job started from task scheduler.
So I am down to level 1 now.
Pls do repair. :)Hope it will can solved the issue.
I ran repair and I still see the same behavior when macrium reflect runs a system backup.
but when it runs a file backup, all is well.
where do I find the log?
I want to see if Avast blocked the scheduled system backup, or if something else went wrong.
