hmm… editing .ini is not that easy for me, because i’m not an experienced computer user…

i hope, avast! could have its own option on color changing… ;D

You don’t have to be an expert, the avast4.ini is just a text file which can be edited like any document, but you must use a text editor like notepad (not a word processor) to edit it.

Before you edit it always make a copy of it save it in a different location so if you make an error you have it as a back-up copy should you need it. If when you are editing the avast4.ini file you make a mistake, exit notepad and don’t save the changes, it will be as it was before you started, just exercise reasonable care.

However, I understand your reluctance to add these values as you have to decide the colour you want and then work out the value for that colour before you can even contemplate editing the avast4.ini file.

I don’t think they would do it. It’s a cosmetic feature - not related to security - and there are other avast4.ini file settings - much more important imho - that don’t have a GUI to change and require manual changing that ini file.
