??? My copy of Avast Home Edition 4.5 doesn’t like running with MoOutlookSecurity/Avx Scriptwall/ETrust,I uninstall all of my script related protection and then reinstalled/reboot them one by one to find this out.Now my copy of Avast Home Edition 4.1 downloads both program and iavs updates when I clicked ONLY the iavs button and guess what I end up with, yep you guessed right it is Avast home edition 4.5.But I can’t run any other form of script protection HO-HUM
Suggestions welcome

Do you also put diesel as well as benzine in your car at the same time?
The Avast script blocker is all you need. As explaind hundreds of times on this board, having two av’s (Avast and Etrust) on one system normally lead to problems.
Hi Eddy,
Thankyou for your reply,I had not realised that Avast Home Edition can block scripts,I’ll check Avast’s help files
incase there is something else I missed. :-

Sorry my mistake, I didn’t saw you where using the Home edition. :-[
Script blocker is only in the Pro version.
Try this:
disable the providers in Avast one at a time.
Is there any in particulair that you stop and the systems is working like it should?
If not, what happens if you remove Etrust?
Never heard of AVX svriptwall here.
The home version doesn’t have a script blocker only available with pro version.
If however, you are having a conflict problem with another script blocker and avast, you could try AnalogX’s Script Defender. I have been using it as long as I have used avast with no conflict.
Hi Eddy,
Here is a link to AVX http://tucows.mundofree.com/win2k/preview/139182.html
I’ll do as you suggested shut down a provider one at a time and see what that provides, thankyou for the suggestion.I hope I’m doing the forum thing right this is my first.

Hi David,
That had not occurred to me
using another blocker I mean I’ll try that.
Thankyou.

dolphinn,
Another good choice in a script blocker is Script Sentry.
Works fine with Avast 4.5.
Good luck.
