I’ve got Nokia 6260, thats some kind of symbian. Can I check files I send to it for viruses on my computer before sending them? I dont want anything to happen to it becouse its pretty new and expensive…

Ofcourse you can as long as they are not encrypted or in another way made unreadable for Avast.
Avast can scan them while they are still on your system.
Scanning files that need to be send to a phone is not different from sending them through ftp, mail etc.
They are just files.

Start Avast > Menu > Virus Database
or look at the vps history at
http://www.avast.com/eng/vps_history.html
But keep in mind that different av vendors give mallware different names.
You can look them up with VGrep
