Hi forum-friends,
It seems that hosts-file.net is no longer available during the last few days, because of a hack (at least as Google is suggesting).
Hosts-file.net is a domain controlled by four domain name servers at dynect.net having a total of six IP numbers. Two of them are on the same IP network. hosts-file.net has one IP number (127.0.0.1). (info from robtex) When a site resolves to 127.0.0.1 it is the same as being blocked, and one cannot connect.
For the normal http://208.115.210.74/ I get an Apache test page…
Tested with these, see: http://forums.voiceofthepublic.com/smf2/index.php?PHPSESSID=4ida1aunq28oqa622v294rujo2&topic=156.msg539#msg539 (link author Mikey) Checked here: http://www.onlinewebcheck.com/check.php and found the source document is empty.
Anyone knows what went on there?
