Hi,
I have “Avast Internet security Pro”, and I recently had to
“Fix” my Install with windows"Uninstaller",Now I get a
“popup-box” after reboot to confirm allowing avast
to change settings on my computer.
after my first Install, this didnt happen,
what do I need to do to stop the box from
poping-up after reboot?
any help would be appreciated!
AVAST is the Best!!!
you may need to remove it and reinstall
remove from safe mode with this, reboot and install again http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
did that do it ?
Thnx Pondus!!
yes,That did the trick!! its much appreciated!!
My “Asshampoo-Uninstaller” was also getting in the way too, it has a “prefetch-program”
that monitors ALL changes in the operating-system, which causes alot of popup-boxes,
so I turned its “pre-monitoring” to off, that helped too.
Thats Not a negative to the “Asshampoo-products”, which I also have many, and use a great deal
and also like alot!!
PS; Im soo proud of my “Avast Internet Security Pro”, which Ive used for Years!
and I was wonderring if there’s a “Avast Boot-screen” available so I can show avast off with??
anyone know where I can get one??
Thnx!
You mean wallpaper?
Google or search the forum for avast wallpaper
naa,
I mean an actual boot-screen,
but i think windows-7 lets you use a wallpaper for a boot-screen,
no big deal,I was just curious, I’LL check it out one day when I get bored,
Thnx Pondus!!
Yeah, there is an option to check during installation for an altered boot-screen for Win7, it just adds something like “protected by avast!” to the normal screen if I remember right. But the option is off by default during setup, you have to enable it.
This is what you see on start up with that setting:
