Limit the size of the logs into avast settings.

Why would you want to do so…???
Anyway, you can delete: “FileSystemShield.txt” on your machine.

it told me is in use , even if i turn off the shield , or disable the report

Did you disable the self defense module AND try to delete it as an admin?

Or use Windows Safe Mode to delete or edit the files.

What is with this fixation of clearing/deleting logs it is just a historic record.

You talk of the Network Shield and Behavior Shield mine have been in use since February 23rd 2011 and they are a hard disk busting 38KB and 67KB respectively. Whilst some don’t conform to my avastUI, Settings, Maintenance, LOGS, setting of 32KB.

They are hardly an issue if you haven’t changed your overall Report file default settings (there are none for the NS or BS), to a paranoid setting, reporting Soft errors, OK items, Skipped items, etc. then they shouldn’t get too large.
