How Can I get Avast to scan my computer

Hi to all,

I am new to this forum and recently installed Avast Home edition, which was recommended by someone. It works great but I have a rather silly question and hope someone can help me out.

How do I get Avast to run/scan my computer automatically or on a scheduled time.

Scheduling is only available in Professional version.

jayponn, since you are new to Avast I 1st like to say welcome to this board.
Secondly I would say, read the manual and make yourself familiar with avast and the options it gives the user
