How can I remove Avast plugin/addon from my firefox browser ?

Dear Avast community.

I have disabled Avast plugin/addon from my Firefox browser, but I would like to know how can I delete it, could some-one explain me how I can do this ?

I happened to read that topic before I made mine, but I am afraid I cannot find the so called “Browser Integration”, all I have is General, Active Protection, Antivirus, Appearance, Update, Registration, Tools, Troubleshooting.

No matter how many times i searched for “Browser Integration” I didn’t manage to find it, could you guide my steps after hitting Settings ?

That is an old topic from April 2013, so the User Interface is likely to be different and why you can’t find it in avast 9.0.2021.

You can completely remove it from avast and that will also remove it from any browsers.

Control Panel > Programs & Features > avast! antivirus - select Change option - uncheck the Browser Protection option in the Tools section.
