A few minutes ago I was sitting here(talking to a friend) and I notice Avast pops up with a deepscreen and I see videocapture in the file now. Deepscreen says everything is ok, but I dont know what it was looking at. Is there a way I can find a log of what file was scanned?

I’m not sure if this popup can be retrieved using the ‘Show last popup message’ right click the avast tray icon.
If not - try checking the DeepScreen Exclusions to see if it was added to the exclusions - avastUI > Settings > General - scroll down to Exclusions (expand the option) - DeepScreen tab.

Yeah …
Where to find what ?
That seems to be a problem for a lot of Avast users.
Maybe something like an " Event log " could be a solution.
Just an idea.

That was it my brother! It was just alienautopsy(alienware stuff). I had to go into the exclusions. If you show last popup it comes up, but does not show the file.
Thanks!

Since the Hardened Mode really falls under the File System Shield, I wonder if it might be in that report file.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report\FileSystemShield.txt (XP location)
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report\FileSystemShield.txt (win7 and later OS location).

Fortunately you were able to find it in the exclusions. I suspect that is the only place it is recorded, mainly to prevent avast continually scanning it in the future.
I still think it may appear in the FSS report file, but only if it were a detection rather than just scanned by deepscreen. In which case it could also be in the virus chest.
