As for the first one, update Chrome and it will not pop-up anymore untill there is a newer version 
Under appearance, I see “show Avast! icon” and “show welcome message” which I have both unchecked, but still getting that popup. Ok I will update Chrome.
I am getting an avast popup each time i change my wifi too. how can i stop that?
There is a lot more under the settings section.
E.G. settings > tools > software updater > customize
For the wifi, what is the popup saying? Why changing the wifi/what is changing?

Yet another popup! Is there a way I can not have any kind of popup whatsoever from Avast? This time I’m getting “Suspicious file blocked”
It is all under the settings section. Look around there and learn. Set avast to behave like you want.

Still getting popups and don’t know what to click to get rid of it…
For popups, I have 0 seconds for duration, hoping that it would never pop up, it actually pops up and stays there forever unless I x-it out.
The lowest duration is 1. If it’s zero, it stays until you X it. You should be able to disable notifications anyway.
