we have avast premium security on our pc, all our music is on one of the drives, we have an app on the ipda called musicstreamer and used to be able to access the music library whilst on the home network
now all attempts to do so are blocked as a possible brute force attck
I have tried adding the IP address of the ipad to the settings in the allow section in remote access shield
there must be something else needed to happen
can anyone help?

Can you temporarily disable Remote Access Shield and see if you can access your music?
