How do I change my avatar picture?

I uploaded my own picture, but it was a powerpoint slide on accident.

Now, every pic I upload shows up as that same powerpoint slide.

Any suggestions?

Your avatar (I presume this is what you are talking about) has to be a) not more than 100x100 pixels and b) either a .gif, .jpg or .png image file format. Saved somewhere on your hard disk.

In your Profile, Forum Profile Information section, select I will upload my own picture, click the Browse… button and navigate to where you have saved your avatar file.

I didn’t do it, a friend who is no longer on the forums did it for me and many others. If you have animated gif software it can be done with a few images, but you have to watch the overall file size.
