How do i change my email id

Hi!

How do i change my email id ?

There is a option to manage email ids. But it did work for me.
I have tried to enter a secondary email address there but did not receive any activation link.

Anyone ?

  • add a second email address
  • set it as default address
  • if you want you can now delete the old email address

There is nothing to activate.

I have tried the same steps, but no luck. :-[

Screen One–> This is where i enter my new email id…
Screen Two → This is the message i got from interface.

When i login again to my.avast.com i could not see newly entered email id there.

Please help me, i think i m missing something…

Please, send me a PM, with the email you are trying to add. We are having issues, as our emails are blocked by certain services.

I am switching from my old Gmail id to new Gmail id.

I think there is a bug/glitch in the my.avast.com

Yes, I did. The only difference is that my new email id was not gmail but gmx. The result was the same as in your case. >:(

Thanks for your screen-shot. My problem seems to be: I try to change my (primary ) email address, which is @gmail.com to one non-gmail.com address. Maybe Google reigns here.

I have two emails listed, one gmail and the other not - my gmail isn’t the default, so it is working in that regard.

May be your email is blocked.
contact support team with a ticket may help.

My email is definitly not “blocked”, whatever this means. ::slight_smile:

If you don’t know what it means, you can’t tell if it is blocked or not :stuck_out_tongue:

I send and I receive emails since years. Nothing seems to be blocked, except by certain filters which I have set.
