How do I delete my primary email address?

I need to delete my primary email address as I have moved and the address is now invalid. I tried under Manage Emails, but that is so misleading. The only thing I can do is add an address. Done. Now, how do I delete the primary address?

Under manage emails in the my.avast.com account - once you add an email address you should then be able to make that new email address the default. Having made it the default you should be able to delete the other email.

Is that what you have tried ?

I have done this in the past and it worked for me - it is some time ago that I did it. I can’t recall if you get an email confirmation/activation for the addition of the new email or possibly the deletion of the old one (which could be a problem). But I can’t recall having to go through those steps.

This is why i never use ISP mail, if you change ISP your mail account is gone Use outlook.com / gmail.com / yahoo.com / fastmail.com

I cannot even get it to add my new email address … argh! Gives in and hopes Avast never has to contact me!!
