How Do I Disable App From Using Mobile Data

Hi All,

I have been using Avast for quite a while now but I have recently changed from a
Pay Monthly Tariff to a PAYG as my usage has been low.

I have since noticed however that this app seems determined to transmit / receive data
even after I have disabled all the options I can think of:

Auto Updates
Community IQ
Data Sharing
Product Pioneering
Status Reporting

for example in the past 12 HOURS its used 6Mb data when the phone has been left idle
on my desk.

So, Can anyone suggest anything I can check to see what is causing the app to do this.

Thanks for any advice

Do you also have anti-theft installed ?
It can be that tracking is on.

Hi,

if you could find an app that tracks data usage over time per app and could post a screenshot of such a graph, it would be easier for me to answer. I’m especially interested in if it’s a consistent usage or usage peaks.

There is no need for a app.
Android has the option build in :

Oh, you can actually tap on an app to get a graph for a specific app. Alright, that should be enough.
