I ran a boot time scan from Avast! 5 and it found 1075 VBS:ExeDropper-gen Trojans in I386 and various other key system files. It deleted them successfully, and to my surprise, the system actually booted back up after. Now, I had not chosen to create a report in the scan settings as the PC appeared to be clean via every other known scan and I was not suspecting anything to come up,
Is there any way to export the scan results from Scan Computer>Scan Logs>Boot-time scan, or find those results in the awil folder somewhere since I didn’t have it set in advance to generate a log?
If not I suppose I can screenshot 1075 lines individually, but honestly I am really dreading that as I am going to have to create a script to replace all the deleted files with clean versions of those same files, basically every OS and program file ending in .htm or .html is now gone and I suspect that is going to cause problems down the road.
Thanks in advance
