How do I get rid of this virus? I could delete it, but wouldn’t that make the program not work?

Program will try to scan 1 selected file(s) in the Chest

I’m not really sure what you are asking here, but all these files are in temporary folders and the asw49.tmp is also a temp file so there shouldn’t be a broblem clearing your temp folders, deleting these files.

If the files in the avast virus Chest are there because they have been detected as infected and you chose (or you modified your settings) to send it there. So there should be no need to scan files in the chest, they can do no harm from there, they can also be deleted from the chest.

Also ensure that you are using the latest version of Sun’s Java.

Well, I’m worried. I recently switched to avast! from Panda cause they have bad service. I read somewhere that avast! can’t heal almost every virus (like panda could). Is this true?

Do you think Panda can heal every virus?
Do you think it’s better than avast! on handling virus? Where did you read that? On Panda site? ;D
