How do I install Avast if the virus wont even allow me to go online?

I NEED HELP!!! My computer is so infected I cant even go online to download Avast… Please help. What should I do?

well you’re obviously online now, probably from another computer >>> download malwarebytes from here:
http://malwarebytes.org/

save it to a USB key and install it from there on your infected system. Update MalwareByte, run a scan, then follow the instructions and reboot. You can post the log here if you want. Were you running this system without any AV?

I know nothing about computers. I am on a different computer now… I called the geek squad but they are ridiculously expensive so I thought I could do something myself…

Ye he could try but if hes unlucky he can have a virus who will not let him install anny program before he are in safe mode.

Let me get this straight though… Like i said, Im not a computer kind of girl (dont laugh!) lol. So with Vipre - all i have to do is start my computer in safe mode and type in the VIPRErescue6317.exe at the command prompt and go from there?

look guys, if we all post here suggesting a hundred solutions we’re just gonna drive her nuts :wink: I still think that the best, fastest, and rather simple way would be for her to download MBAM to a usb, and then install and run it on the infected system. She said she doesn’t know much about computers and she’s hearing 3 or 4 voices saying different things ::slight_smile:

Unfortunately I cant - Im on work computer and dont have admin rights… And my home computer is so jacked I cant even get online… And, on top of that, Im retarded and dont understand computer talk…

what anti-virus program are installed on the pc? If its avast you can start avast take scan computer and you will se on the list boot time scan take on it
press schedule now

I dont have anything… I had Mcafee but it expired a few days ago then all of the sudden this happened…
