DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO ACTUALLY REMOVE ADBLOCKERSERVICE.EXE COMPLETELY?
The Avast Support Team has asked me to post here… I followed their instructions below in an attempt to remove adblockerservice.exe from my computer but it still appears in the Task Manager (it shows stopped in the status but I want it totally removed). I’ve attached a screen shot of where it still appears in the Task Manager. Can anyone help me?
Here were the directions from the Avast Support Team that I have already done:
Please click the “Start” button > “Control Panel” > “Programs and Features” > locate, select and uninstall “AdBlocker” and anything related to “AdBlockerService” from the list of programs installed on your computer. NOTE: It does not appear in the control panel so I was instructed to follow the rest of the directions and then delete the file from my C Drive Program files folder.
After that, please reset your web browsers to their default settings. I do not know, which web browser you are using on your device, so you can find the steps for multiple browsers below:

Then, please press press ⊞ Win + R, type “services.msc” without quotes in the window that appears and press enter. Locate the adblockerservice.exe service, right click on it, select “Properties”, click “Stop” if the service would be running and set its startup type to “Disabled”.
Once you will do that, press ⊞ Win + R again, type %temp% and press enter. Select all the files and folders in the temp folder and remove them from your computer. Please make sure, that you will close all programs on your device before doing this. If you would receive a message, that some of the files cannot be deleted, please select the option “Apply to all” and click on "Skip.
In the end, please reboot your computer.
