I contacted a rogue antivirus by the name of “Antivirus 2008” today. I did a full scan using my Avast AV and still that didn’t destroy this fake antivirus (Antivirus 2008). Is there some other way to destroy it with Avast or should I use another antivirus or spyware remover?

Try a boot time scan with avast! Right click the scanner screen, select ‘schedule a boot time scan’ and reboot when requested.
Try the usual free adware/spyware scanners.

Nothing worked besides a spyware detection and removal program called Spy Hunter 3. I’m happy that worked but sad it cost me $30 and even more depressed my Avast AV allowed this effing thing to invade my computer to begin with >:(
