How do I remove Avast SafePrice extension

Hello

I have removed Avast Free Antivirus from my Windows 10 installation as per the official site’s FAQ, and also an FAQ featured on this site. I have checked Window Add / Remove programs and I cannot see any Avast Installations present. I have also run avastclear.exe and avgclear.exe using every option those applications offer.

But, I find that the Avast SafePrice chrome extension reinstalls every time I start Chrome after removing the extension.

This is starting to look like malware, what can I do to remove this nuisance?

Do you use chrome sync?

Open the settings menu within Chrome by clicking on tri-line/wrench icon on right corner. Now open the Advanced sync settings… Now select the option choose what to sync and then unmark the Extensions option.
