How do I remove Symnatec def: Trojan.FakeAV

Hello,

I installed Avast 5 (after removing Avira AntiVir) on my sisters computer, two days ago.

Today she clicked on a site and mistakenly clicked on Rogue antivirus program, symantec is identifying as:
Trojan.FakeAV (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2007-101013-3606-99&tabid=3)
Here’s another article: http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9156638/Rogue_antivirus_program_comes_with_tech_support

First, would someone tell me why Avast didn't detect this and stop it.
Second, would someone tell me how to undo/remove this FakeAV; Spybot Search & Destroy can detect the spyware (about 14 instances)but it can't fix the problems--It can't remove them (gives an error message stating this).

Hi

Download Hitman Pro to your Desktop from http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads/, hold the Ctrl key on keyboard, Double click on Hitman Pro (Keep the Ctrl key until Hitman Pro screen appear), then click on next and let it scan your computer and remove the things it find. if it asked for license just active the 30 days trial. restart the computer.

download and install Malwarebytes Antimalware from http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/, update it and do a scan and removed things it find.

I hope it would solve almost every problems you have had.
