Just recently there’s a signature line about there being no malware in this e-mail because I use avast (free).
I searched this question and it was posted you go into Settings> Active Protection…
When I click on the cog wheel (Settings) I don’t see Active Protection.
How do I remove this clean note?
Thank you.

Open avast! → Settings → Active Protection → Mail Shield → Behavior → uncheck Insert note into clean message

There is no Ative Protection in my Settings (cog wheel).
Lower left corner of the GUI>Settings>Active Protection>click on the mail shield cog/sprocket>click “behavior”

In my lower left there is a cog wheel symbol (settings). Clicked on it does not reveal the words “Active Protection” anywhere.

To Para-Noid,
My apologies. My screen was reduced and I could not read the tiny lettering. Once I enlarged the screen resolution I could see that and follow your instructions.
Thank you!
