In 6 days my license for Internet Security will expire, and I don’t wanna pay again 40 € or so for another year.
Last year, you(Avast) send me an e-mail and it was like… Renew your license NOW for 19 €.
The problem is that I moved from Austria to my home country, and Yahoo for “some” security reasons,
blocked my access to my e-mail. They ask for those 2 “security questions” and I forgot the answers.
Can I receive an offer like last year in my NEW e-mail ?

In order to change AN email address, you have to create an account with your old email address
and Avast send you the activation link to complete registration in THAT e-mail… which I can not access. ;D
Second link you gave my(findmyorder)… it is very confused. Don’t know what do, or search there.

Can I provide you (to Avast) with some other useful information like customer number for example ?
Can I prove with that number that I am the one who payed the license for 2 years ?

easiest way (to me) seems, contact Yahoo and get access to your account again.
That shouldn’t make any difference - you still need an avast account to be able to log in - as your avast forum login is validated against the my.avast.com account.

All existing forum accounts had the forum user name changed to that of the my.avast.com email address. Initially these may have been created automatically.
Last time when I posted onto your forum was 1 year ago, and I needed name and password to sigh in, based on e-mail.
If “avast forum account” with “my.avast.com account” is the same or not , matters only e-mail address.
Also today you can have one e-mail where you get the license and another one to sign into forum right ?
Based on that e-mail… and if EVERYTHING matches, they know what kind of version you have… payed/not payed
and if you really have one, installed in your system. 8)
I can’t remember if in that time was already “formed” the avast account or “my.avast.com” account…

If you uninstall the paid version of Avast, one of the options you’ll be offered is to convert to the Free version of Avast.
