I seen where I could scan by folders which does not answer my question even though it’s good to know. But my question is, how do I scan individual files that are either not in a folder or in a folder but without scanning the whole folder so if it’s in a folder than click the + sign next to the folder and tick the files I desire to scan, so pretty much how do I scan individual files in general? Would this be possible? And thank you!
right click the file…and there should be a scan with avast in the popup menu
if you are downloading files and want to test them, then it is better to test with a multi scanner like these www.virustotal.com / www.metascan-online.com / www.jotti.org
