My cousin bought VBA32 and I used it and I found 7 trogans that Avast missed. I don’t know how to make it to a password protected .zip file. Please help.

Do you have winzip? If you open a new archive file, you can drag and drop the files with a password.
Then just attach the zip file to an email, inform the password in the message body, send to virus@avast.com
In fact, you won’t need a password as avast! does not detect the virus and the email will be sent without problems.
Better if you inform a link to this thread too, so they’ll have more info.
Thanks and welcome.
Okay, I didn’t delete the file yet so I can still send it. I’ll go download WinZip right now.
there is no need to download winzip. all you need to do is put your file into a zip folder then go into the folder and go to file add a password.
Thanks, justin1278.
I already sent Alwil the files already. Hope they add it soon.
anytime
You could also check the offending/suspect file at: Jotti - Multi engine on-line virus scanner if any other scanners here detect them it is less likely to be a false positive of VBA32.
Or VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner
DavidR, I scanned with VirusTotal and Jotti and VBA and NOD32 detected it.
That’s good and confirms you should send it to virus @ avast . com although by submitting it at Jotti it should be passed to all the AVs that didn’t detect it if confirmed as a virus.
