Hi! What options should I setup for in Avast? Is it alright to put a check by all options offered? Please explain what the 2 last items listed on the list are for:

You must set the providers and the global program settings.
Of course not. You must choose them right 
Exit Explorer Extension when first virus is found. If you run quick-scan on multiple files, the scan will be stopped after the first virus is found. If this option is turned off, all the selected files will be scanned.
Show results of Explorer Extension. When running the quick-scan, the results will be displayed even when no virus is found.
