How Do I Transfer Internet Security To New PC

I have a license for Internet Security 2015. The original receipt states my license covers 1 PC. I have ordered a new PC and want to know how I transfer the license to the new PC when it comes. Apologies if this info is somewhere on web site, couldn’t locate it.

Just uninstall from the old computer. Then install on the new one using the same licence :slight_smile:

Thanks for the help. Couple more questions,if I may:

  1. Do I have to wait between performing the uninstall and then the re-install ? I’m assuming some status is being set/reset somewhere. Must some time pass before I can go ahead and install on second pc

  2. What if the uninstall for some reason is not complete/successful - trying to envision all scenario’s…

What do you want to do with the old system ?

I will continue to use it for some time but it won’t be important enough for me purchase an additional license - all critical programs and assets will be transferred to the new pc.

Ok, on the old system uninstall avast completely (use the uninstall tool, not only uninstall from control panel)
Install AIS on the new system and use the license.
Install avast free on the old system and register it.
