How do I turn off mail scan for a specific emailer

Vista 64 bit / Thunderbird / Avast v4.7 Home Edition

I subscribe to the daily weather report from a local TV station. There are so many Avast MailScanner warnings embedded throughout the text it’s confusing and almost unreadable. Is there a way to stop checking email from this sender? Thanks for your help - IM

It’s coming from “My-KOMO-4Cast@subs.myweather.net”, KOMO TV is a local Seattle TV station. I subscribe to the daily weather forecast. There is no obvious advertizing that I can see in the email, just links to weather trivia and ‘more’ weather information.

That’s strange as I’ve pinged 64.73.35.117 several times and it comes back as being in Madison, WI. Are you sure about the IP address? No typo of the numbers?
