I have Avast Mac Security 2015 and I keep getting inundated with Avast Mail shield notifications.
I have looked at every option on the menu and the only one that seems to apply (Preferences > Popups), has no effect.
“Great! Your doing a good job. Stay out of my face!”
Its getting annoying.
Setting the alerts to “off” works for me, so a little bit more info about the issue is required, to do anything about it.
Isn’t the 2015 version a old one ?
If so, time to update I would say.
It is a little bit confusing, but 2015 is the current version. We plan to change (or drop it from the name) the year in a “bigger” release in a few weeks.
Except of the name, “2015” gets regular updates as can bee seen in the changelog.
