How do I uninstall Avast CleanUp?

I can not find Avast CleanUp in Programs and Features.

You can do so as you can do with all the components and as has been explained in the FAQ as well as in many threads on this webboard.

I got a letter from Avast today.
Wrong CleanUp version was sent to me.

They wrote to me to uninstall Avast Cleanup.
“Go to Windows Control Panel, then Programs and Features, then Uninstall Avast Cleanup.”
I can not find Avast CleanUp in Programs and Features.

How do I uninstall Avast CleanUp?

Dear Eddy,

I was looking for “How do I uninstall Avast CleanUp?” on Avast Homepage and Avast Forum.
There was no way to find or answer anywhere.
That’s why I opened a new topic in the forum.

Avast wrote to me:
“Go to Windows Control Panel, then Programs and Features, then Uninstall Avast Cleanup.”
Avast CleanUp does not have Programs and Features!!

Avast CleanUp does not have Programs and Features!!
It does if it is the standalone version, otherwise you need to do it through the components.

And there is always the manual way.
It is just a matter of learning how to handle a OS, what options it gives to the user etc. (aka basic computer knowledge)

I have Avast Premier.
Cleanup is in Components.

I can’t uninstall Cleanup from components.
How do I uninstall Cleanup from components?

Other…
Programfiles → Avast Software → Avast Premier is.

Programfiles → Avast Software → Avast Cleanup isn’t.
nor
Programfiles → Avast Software → Avast Cleanup uninstall isn’t.

What is manual way besides that?

I did installing and uninstalling many programs on Windows.
