How do I uninstall this damed program-I

I’ve used REVO. Avast_CLR i Safe Mode and disabling i TAsk manager- still the bloody thing is present

If youve tried other removal tools before avast clear then this could be a problem which ive seen on here in the past.
you need the full avast suite on your computer to remove it and if there is only part of it left then i dont think avast clear will remove parts.
Im no expert so lets see what others say.

Also remember if this was the trial version make sure you have un subscribed from renewal as it is on by default otherwise you will be charged for a year licence even if you do manage to remove it.

Thanks for help. Avast_Clear had no effect so yr suggestions likely, Its the free version I was trying but its way too resource hungry for software I thought I had deleted (with Revo)

You should use the Avast Uninstaller tool avastclear.exe to remove Avast. Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast

I think they have already tried that but after using other un installers.
so im guessing there is only parts of avast left and the clear wont un install them without the full avast package installed.

Which is weird because AvastClear is also what you use to remove all traces of Avast after a regular uninstall.

To topicstarter: can you re-install Avast or does that fail too? Maybe you can uninstall properly after a re-install. And then run AvastClear just to be sure.

I’ve now tried to Reinstall this damn software to then use Avast_Clear to uninstall it (Its as stupid as it sounds - Attached is the result of trying to use Avast_Clear- a message saying - uninstall these conflicting programs to continue- THE LIST OF PROGRAMS TP UNINSTALL SO aVSAT CAN NE INSTALLED IS *BLANK !!!- Now Avast is using all its consederable resources while it doen’t work AND it wont uninstall. How do they continue in business as a software company ? ALSL impossible to get Avast to reply
