How do I use the VRDB to recover, not generate?
I can’t seem to find a way. Is it only if you have viruses that have infect files?
Please help!

Thank you

Yes, avast Virus Cleaner will find and restore the data stored by VRDB…
It’s better you do not have to use it ;D

avast! Virus Cleaner doesn’t have anything to do with VRDB.
Otherwise, yes, the VRBD info is used only when repairing an infected file (whose “original” state has been stored in VRDB previously); so, to test this feature, you would need a newly infected file that was previously (clean) on your computer.

oops!
Sorry for the wrong information. I’m glad to know from time to time that I’m only a co-pilot ;D
Thanks Igor
