I am new to the forum, so this may be a silly question but I can not seem to find where I can add profile information or choose an avatar on this forum.
Is this blocked for new members at first or am I just missing it?
Under Account Settings and Modify Profile, I can not change anything.

You need 20 posts before you can do this.

as an admin on my own forum i personally thing this is goofy and would like to know what the reasoning bewhind the 20 post count before avatar is lol

: if spammers wanna post a link they would do it here in the post not the av lol jmho
we have been getting hit regular by the china gang our list of temp- email or whatever is growing daily
It isn’t so much to do with the avatar, but to be able to access that you would have access to the other settings in that area. So they are rather limited with the SMF forum software, profile layout.

An Avatar / Profile image… ?!
I was having a hard time figuring this out myself.
Never before have I been one to have difficulty at navigating a newly joined members forum.
So I was baffled as to where my option was for uploading an image.
Actually it seems the answer is that we are limited as new members.
Strange. So it is a penalty for not having more posts?
I was confused. And it seems that as a new member that more that just my avatar is limited.
It seems that I cannot really change about my profile info at all.
I don’t see where it asks me for my birthday yet it reveals my age to be ?
