How do you insert a quote in your post

Sorry for the stupid question…When replying to previous posts, how do you get the quote and blue colored text? ???

When quoting care should be taken not to quote the whole post, only the relevant part/s .

first I ckicked the quote butten then copied the txt behind it…doesn’t look right???

And then the rest of the text. Pay attention where the quoted text goes and where the final tag goes. Use “Preview” before posting.

When you click on the quote button actually in the post you want to quote, it should be pasted into the Quick Reply window at the bottom of the page (see image).

So you shouldn’t have to copy anything it is automatically inserted into the text window at the cursor position.

Do you see the Quick Reply window at the bottom of the page ?
