I went to the stop provider option on the web shield and turned it off the good news is it cured my connection issues but just to make sure how do you turn it back on ? The Resume Provider option is blocked out?
Just double click the blue icon (a) and resume it from there
Click the avast icon, select Web Shield provider and click the Start button
