How do you uninstall Avast 4.7?

It cannot be done by using “add and remove programs”.

If it won’t uninstall via add/remove, use the uninstall utility

download and save to your desktop, easy to find there ;D

you should also download the latest version of avast if you are planning to reinstall.

1.double click the uninstall utility on your desk top
2. make sure the path to avast is in the white box, the default is c:\pprogram files\alwil software\asvast4
there is a browse button at the end of the box
3. run the utility
4. re boot
5, install avast and update

Hi all
I am using avast 4.7 and zone alarm, my avast seems to run slow and when i put my curser on the icon it says ( avast on access scanner, 7 providers, 6 running) is this normal?
or is it my system as it crashed during booting up, i sent an error report and the message i got back was DEVICE DRIVER ERROR “stop error”

Are you asking how to uninstall avast 4.7 as well?
